It seems when it rains here in Charlottesville (musically), it pours. Lots of great shows coming our way including Eli Cook’s cd release party at Rivals 10/24; he is also opening for Robert Cray Saturday at the Paramount. Friday Richard Thompson comes to the Paramount while the British funk band, the New Mastersounds are at the Outback Lodge 11/4, and Rickie Lee Jones is coming to the Paramount 10/20. We also featured Robert Jospe & Inner Rhythm, who are performing Friday at PVCC. Eli Cook was live in the studio to discuss and play his new cd Static in the Blood and played a couple of tunes live. We finished the show in New Orleans featuring music from the Orleans Records label, which needs to be continued to another show. Red beans and ricely yours.
